Stefano Amato alias DJ El Malo was born in Zurich in 1975. Already as a child, besides soccer, he developed a great passion for the music. After an instructive trip across Cuba the native italian was sure: his future DJ career will consist of Salsa beats. From his former experiences as a House-DJ he got the indispensable beat feeling, from his HipHop- and R&B trips he got the great mixing technique and from his passion to the latin way of life he got the needed faith in the music. In less than five years he became one of the most known and best Salsa DJ's of the world. All the invitations to the most important international Salsa Congresses all over the world give an evidence of his popularity. Moreover, he was honored several times for his work to the World of Latin Music - like in 2005 at the West Coast Salsa Congress in Los Angeles. He represents and lives in his DJing the New York Fania era like no other. DJ El Malo has already launched two great Salsa Compilations with the label "Latin Touch".

Stefano Amato alias DJ El Malo kam 1975 in Zürich zur Welt. Schon von klein an merkte man, dass er neben dem Fussball auch eine grosse Leidenschaft für die Musik entwickelte. Später nach der Rückkehr aus einer richtungweisenden Reise in Kuba war sich der gebürtige Italiener zweifellos sicher: den zukünftigen Weg seiner DJ-Laufbahn werden Salsa-Rhythmen ebnen. Aus seinen früheren Erfahrungen als House-DJ hat er das unentbehrliche Beatgefühl, aus seinen HipHop- und R&B-Abstechern seine perfekte Mixtechnik, und seine leidenschaftliche Hingabe zur lateinamerikanischen Lebensart verleiht ihm die nötige musikalische Glaubwürdigkeit. In weniger als fünf Jahren hat es DJ El Malo geschafft zu den angesagtesten und besten Salsa DJ's der Welt zu zählen. Der Beweis dafür ist, dass er an den wichtigsten internationalen Salsa Kongressen eingeladen wird und dass er schon mehrfach für seine Arbeit geehrt wurde; wie zum Beispiel im Mai 2005 am West Coast Salsa ongress in Los Angeles. Er setzt sich wie kein Zweiter für die Klassiker aus der New Yorker Fania-Ära ein. Mit dem Label "Latin Touch" hat DJ El Malo bereits zwei eigene Salsa Compilations veröffentlicht.

Stefano Amato alias DJ EL Malo é nato a Zurigo nel 1975. Già da bambino, oltre al calcio, é sempre stato apassionato di musica. Dopo un viaggio istruttivo a Cuba l'italiano di nascita era sicuro: la sua carriera da DJ in futuro sarà piena di ritmi di Salsa. Grazie alle sue esperienze come DJ di musica House ha sempre avuto l'indispensabile feeling per il ritmo, dalle scappatelle nel mondo della musica HipHop e R&B si é acquisito la tecnica ideale per mixare e per la sua passione del modo di vita latino americano ha sempre avuto la fede nella musica. In meno di cinque anni é diventato uno dei migliori e piú importanti DJ di Salsa al mondo. Tutti gli inviti ai congressi internazionali di Salsa piú importanti al mondo sono una dimostrazione del suo successo. Inoltre é stato già onorato piú volte per il suo contributo e lavoro per il mondo della musica latino americana - come nel 2005 al West Coast Salsa Congress a Los Angeles. Lui rappresenta e vive la musica della New York Fania era, come non un altro DJ. DJ El Malo ha giá lanciato due Salsa Compilations con successo con il Label "Latin Touch".
